After Earth (2009)
Eventually the loss of our planet is inevitable, whether from our own doing or events beyond our control. We will have to find a new home, or perish. But what would life be like after Earth?
This series of digital images has been crafted with the genre of 'popular science' (which is becoming ever more popular) in mind. The photo-illustrations could be used in magazine double-page spreads to bring articles or speculation to life, as is shown in the mock-ups I have created.
Embellished versions of the images also appeared as standalone pieces in a recent exhibition, showing the versatility of modern commercial photography.
